This section will guide you through setting up text message forwarding to your email mailbox so that you can access the latest text messages through your email mailbox.

Cloud email forwarding

This is the default email forwarding method, which is simple and easy to use. You just need to set the email forwarding destination in the app.

What is cloud email forwarding?

Note

cloud email forwarding is to forward your SMS to your email using Lanren cloud email service, this method is easy to use and secure. Your data is highly protected and encrypted.

How does Cloud Email Forwarding work?

Your SMS will be sent to your target mailbox through the server of LanrenSMS. Our company will ensure the privacy of user data. For details, please refer to the “User Agreement” and other information when installing the app.

What are the limitations of Cloud Email Forwarding?

Cloud email forwarding is the default way to forward SMS messages to your mailbox, but it has the following limitations:

• There is a limit on the number of emails you can send each month. The limit will vary depending on whether you have activated the service. The specific limit will be indicated on the activation page.

SMTP Email Forwarding

If you do not want to use Cloud Email Forwarding, you can also use SMTP Email Forwarding. To enable it: Open the app—》Click Advanced Settings in the upper left corner—》Click Email (SMTP) Mail Forwarding Settings—》Uncheck “Cloud Mail Forwarding”

Click Set SMTP in the above picture to enter the following interface:

Please fill in various SMTP parameters and click the “Send Test Email” button at the end. If you see “Test Successful”, it means that the SMTP settings you filled in are correct.
