How to use web api to access your SMS without browser

What is web api?

Just as this image shows:

You can use this web api to :

• Query your latest SMS without opening any web browser instantly and securely
• You can query multiple times per day to get your SMS

Before applying for the web api, you must know below:

Key points

• You must create rule to forward SMS to web
• You must register in the lanrensms forwarder app to get a username and password
• You must apply for an api-key to use the API

How to apply for api-key

Send mail to me: support@lanrensms.com, tell me your username in the app.

How to use the api-key?

You can use web api by following these steps:

Step 1: Use your lanrensms username and api-key to get your loginToken

Visit the following url:

https://www.lanrensms.com/appwebssl/csqc/getLoginToken?userName=xxx&apiKey=yyy&lang=en

The xxx is your lanrensms username, yyy is the api-key shown above.

If all goes well, you will get a response similar to this:

Your loginToken is: ....

The above loginToken is valid for 6 hours

Then:

Step 2: Use the loginToken obtained in the first step and your lanrensms password to obtain a token to access the SMS content

You can visit this url then:

https://www.lanrensms.com/appwebssl/csqc/login?password=xxx&loginToken=yyy&lang=en

The xxx is your lanrensms user password, and yyy is the loginToken you obtained in the previous step.

If all goes well, you will get a response similar to this:

Your new token is: ...

The above token is valid for 1 hour. If there is no access within an hour, it will automatically expire.

Then,

Step 3: Get SMS content (this step can be called repeatedly within the token validity period, you can call it 200 times per day)

Now, you can visit this url:

https://www.lanrensms.com/appwebssl/csqc/api?token=xxx&lang=en

The xxx is the access token for SMS obtained in the previous step. You can call this URL repeatedly.

If normal, you will get the latest SMS list of this account as follows:

Step 4: Log out, which will immediately invalidate your loginToken and token

Where xxx is your lanrensms username, yyy is your current loginToken, and zzz is your current token
