This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS version of AutoReply (the "App"). We respect and protect user privacy. The App's core function is to generate SMS auto-reply suggestions or results on the user's device based on rules configured by the user.
To match auto-reply rules, the App may store the following information locally on the user's device:
The App does not directly read SMS messages, monitor SMS messages in the background, or directly send SMS messages. SMS triggering and sending are configured and performed by the user through Apple's Shortcuts app. The App only calculates whether a reply is needed and what the reply content should be, based on the sender and message body passed to the App Intent by Shortcuts.
We use the relevant information only for the following purposes:
The App's rules, records, and logs are stored locally on the user's device by default. When the user deletes the App, local data is usually deleted together with the App.
If the user actively uses the iCloud backup and restore feature, the App stores necessary backup data such as rules and the global auto-reply switch through Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage. iCloud data is handled by Apple's iCloud service and is subject to Apple's privacy policy and the user's iCloud settings.
The App may offer Pro or Enterprise subscriptions. Purchases, renewals, refunds, and payment information are handled by Apple App Store / StoreKit. The App does not collect or store full payment card numbers, bank accounts, or similar payment credentials.
The App may request notification permission to alert the user when auto-reply is paused because of usage limits or feature restrictions. Notification permission can be turned off in iOS Settings.
Users may contact technical support by email. The App does not automatically upload diagnostic information. Relevant information is provided to us only when the user actively copies, pastes, or sends it by email. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information in support emails.
We do not sell, rent, or trade users' personal information, and we do not use user data for third-party advertising tracking. To provide subscriptions, iCloud backup, system notifications, and email features, the App uses system services provided by Apple. Data processing by those services is governed by Apple's applicable policies.
We make reasonable efforts to protect user information. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Users should keep their devices, Apple ID, iCloud account, and email account secure.
The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address it.
We may update this Privacy Policy based on feature changes or review requirements. The updated policy will be posted on this page, and the date shown on this page will indicate the latest update.
